HWMG Upgrade of Claims and Benefits System

HWMG will transition to a new and improved system platform as part of our efforts to enhance service to our providers, clients, and their members. The conversion will be done in phases by client, and the exact dates are to be determined.

Changes to Occur

Medical claims will be processed in the new system after the conversion date.

Our clients’ plan administrators will have access to a new and improved portal powered by the Javelina Web platform by Eldorado Computing, a division of Mphasis Healthcare Solutions. It will have a new look with features including self-login reset and managing enrollments, member ID cards, and eligibility information. Historical information will be available on HWMG’s old portal through December 31, 2023.

Historical information will be available on HWMG’s old portal through December 31, 2023.

To ensure timely and secure notification of claims information, members may choose to receive only electronic EOBs for medical services, viewable on HWMG’s new online portal. To elect this option, login to HWMG’s new online portal and select paperless EOBs, or contact HWMG’s Customer Service Center for assistance.

HWMG will still mail a paper EOB if a member visits a non-participating provider and pays for services up front, which results in HWMG mailing a payment directly to the member.
